My father immigrated from Italy at 17 and found work the next day. This work ethic shaped 38 years in the IT sector, 30 of them as an owner and president, where with my partners we grew a very small IT company into a national player. Those lessons became my book series and the talks I now share with teams, leaders and members across the country.
Real stories, not theory. Every audience leaves with one clear takeaway they can act on the same day.
An inspiring, story-led session that energises conferences, AGMs and member events.
Focused, practical workshops on networking, leadership and building lasting relationships.
Approachable, high-value sessions your team will talk about long after lunch is over.
Four lengths, ready to use. Directories take 50 words, podcast show notes 125, press 250, and the spoken introduction is written for an emcee to read aloud.
Frank Abbruzzese, The Networking Alchemist™, is an author, speaker and community builder from Windsor-Essex, Ontario. Across 38 years in the IT sector, he helped grow a very small IT company into a national player, co-founded the WindsorEssex Circle and Wednesday Wisdom and wrote the Building Legacies series. His rule: build relationships first, sell later.
Frank Abbruzzese, The Networking Alchemist™, is an author, speaker and community builder from Windsor-Essex, Ontario. Over a 38-year career in the IT sector, he and his partners grew a very small IT company into a national player and the lessons from those years became a decade of weekly writing: more than 500 published entries that now form the Building Legacies book series.
Frank co-founded WEtech Alliance and the WindsorEssex Circle, the networking group he ran monthly from 2010 to 2020. When COVID closed the rooms, he founded Wednesday Wisdom, running it virtually every week from January 2021 and hosting it in person, monthly, ever since. He has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce and Tech CEO of the Year by WEtech Alliance. His rule for every room he enters: build relationships first, sell later.
Frank Abbruzzese's father immigrated from Italy at 17 and found work the next day. This work ethic shaped everything after it: a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, a technology career begun in 1988 and 38 years in the IT sector, 30 of them as an owner and president, where Frank and his partners grew a very small IT company into a national player.
What sets Frank apart: he wrote it all down while it was happening. From 2010 to 2020 he published a weekly blog, more than 500 dated entries on leadership, networking, communications and customer service, written in the moment rather than polished after the fact. Those entries became the Building Legacies series. Volume II, covering Business Networking, Communications and Technology, arrives September 2, 2026.
Frank's peers named him "The King of Networking" and "The Connector" long before he trademarked The Networking Alchemist™. He earned both names by building the rooms he networked in: co-founder of WEtech Alliance, co-founder of the WindsorEssex Circle, which met monthly for a decade, co-founder and past chair of Build A Dream and founder and host of Wednesday Wisdom. His recognition includes Entrepreneur of the Year from the Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce and Tech CEO of the Year and Tech Mentor of the Year from WEtech Alliance.
Frank lives in Windsor-Essex with his wife Carmela. His philosophy fits on a rock: build relationships first, sell later.
Our next speaker has been called "The King of Networking" and "The Connector," and here is the thing: he did not pick either name. The people in his community did.
Over 38 years in the IT sector, he and his partners grew a very small IT company into a national player. Along the way he co-founded WEtech Alliance, ran the WindsorEssex Circle every month from 2010 to 2020 and, when COVID closed the rooms, founded Wednesday Wisdom, still going strong in person today. And every Wednesday morning for a decade, he wrote down what he was learning. Those 500 entries became the Building Legacies book series.
He has been named Entrepreneur of the Year and Tech CEO of the Year. But if you ask him what matters, he will tell you it is simpler than any award: build relationships first, sell later.
He tells real stories, not theory, and you will leave with one clear takeaway you can use tomorrow morning. Please welcome The Networking Alchemist, Frank Abbruzzese.
Building Legacies: A Leader's Blueprint for Growth, Volume II. Business Networking, Communications & Technology. Available September 2, 2026.
Volume II is Frank's second book, following Volume I on leadership, decision making and customer service.
Most business books are written after the win, polished by hindsight. This one was written while it happened. From 2010 to 2022, Frank published his lessons weekly, in the moment, with the date on every entry. Volume II collects 70 of those entries across the three pillars deciding how a professional grows.
It is not a how-to. It is a "you are not alone, here is proof" series drawn from real experience. The reader reads the book they need.

More than 500 weekly entries published from 2010 to 2020, collected and organized by theme. Each volume stands alone. Together they are the record of a working entrepreneur thinking in public.
Building Legacies is the book series. Building Circles is the practice inside it, the name of his blog for over a decade. Five behaviours, in order, each one teachable to someone who finds networking uncomfortable.
Arrive early, linger longer, enter with intent. A plan instead of a hope.
Ask before you offer. Depth forms because the other person is heard first.
Connect two people, get them talking, walk away. The habit behind "The Connector."
The Golden Rule. Next business day, personalized, one question rather than three.
Thank every referral source, update them even on dead ends. No sour grapes.
The banned words · Everyone is your customer · The seven red flags · His why.
Twelve questions podcast hosts and media can pull from, warm-up to depth, each with the beats Frank hits. Four shown here; the full set travels with the kit.
Italy at 17, work the next day. Work ethic as the family inheritance. That standard shaped 38 years in business and everything in the books.
Connect two people who do not know each other, get their stories flowing, step away. Costs nothing, usable at your very next event, and it compounds.
Brian. A month before Christmas, first baby due in January. Shared his story, applied, hired one day before the baby was born. "It was all him since he made the choice to attend the Circle that night."
Not the awards. People remember how you made them feel. The legacy is the people who got connected, hired, mentored and helped, and who then did it for someone else.
